These are great chapter books for your early reader Garfield fan. My son loves them, I just wish there were more in the series. Unfortunately there are only four books in the series, so once they have read these four that's all there is.

My son is a big fan of Garfield. That being the case it was a real joy to discover this chapter book series. What IS in Jon's basement? I won't say because I don't want to spoil the surprise. I would recommend this for children 8 to 12 years of age. Older children might find it too easy.

Man I love the mid to late 1980's version of Garfield cause the pictures have gotten better and they came up with more funny stuff like Garfield waking Jon up in the middle of the night.
It is also my understanding that Garfield books will someday become collector's items and unfortunately, I lost one of my Garfield books and hopefully I'll be able to find it or replace it.

I am a tremendous fan of Garfield, and own and have read the first 32. And make no mistake. I well read 33. And, I certainly do have favourites. SWALLOWS is not my favourite but is certainly one of them, because of the story about Garfield and Odie running away to join the circus, a well thought out, fantastically funny and clever bit.

This book was great . Garfield goes on zany adventures to either help a snowball fight , save santa from aliens , even makeing friends with a rat . This is a good book to read on christmas eve before you go to bed it gets you prepped up for the next day .If the stars could go higher I would give this book never ending stars .

I loved at each of these "furry" tales. Garfield in fairy tales will make children of all ages laugh at Garfields humor. They are fun and an easy read. Give this to anyone having a hard day- it will brighten their day.

I am a Garfield lover so I like most Garfield books including this one. I do believe it was well drawn,and written.Funny, delightful for most ages, and you should read it.

I love Garfield and I love Magic Eye! Buy this book if you love either. I didn't realize this book was a paperback til I got it, regardless, this is a great coffee table book for everyone to enjoy.

This book has really good images. They pop out really well. I especially like the star one.
